This lovely silver girl is Ari, from Aja's second and last litter of pups.  Ari is loved by everyone.  Her excellent demeanor and sweet nature continues to be seen in her puppies, especially the males who are such love bugs! Her two sets of 'grand kids' are quickly melting hearts too. I didn't think any dog would be more obedient than Aja... but Ari is awfully close. She is also 'daddy's girl'.  She is now 8 years old and 'retired' but enjoying her duties as grandma.

Myles... is such an awesome dog!  He is a great ambassador for the breed and has changed many a 'manly' mind about owning a poodle. Most days he's greeting customers at Bone Appetit! and I'm asked, time and time again, how can I get my dog to be like him?  Honestly, first you need to start with a standard poodle! He is 8 years old, 25 1/2" and 60# ... very male yet as sweet as they come!

'Addie Girl', as she is known to most all.  Right from the start, she was destined to 'do'... starting with being the first to climb out of the whelping box.  She accomplished lots of 'firsts', and that also includes putting a Ch title on her, through United Kennel Club.  She's a 24" trim dynamo, and one I'm most proud of.  She is sweet, like her mother Ari, yet bolder, and has taken over the role of pack leader among the dogs. She will play fetch till you tire, as all her puppies do as well.

Lailahmae is 'all that' in a perfect petite package! She's a girl of action, and watch out if she sees water... she'll be in it!  Her inky black coat, delicate features, and spunky attitude show off superb breeding.  Her breeder, Karen Kaempfee and I co-own her together and yet she begged to live with Suzanne and Aja. They are a happy family, just blocks away.  Thanks Karen and Suzanne!

Quintin loves loving... he's a real people dog and likes nothing better than to be by your side or in your lap.  As all his siblings, he has a lovely temperament, very well mannered, and wants to please.  He is a happy guy who will retrieve a ball till you are tired of throwing!  He is 25" tall,  very square... and weighs in at 55lbs.  We are just thrilled with this boy.
He lives in Las Vegas, being part of a wonderful home where 3 young girls are doting on him.  What a lucky guy!

HiD is a special girl, very sweet and... a bit prissy!  She's very well mannered and goes with the flow but has her own mind as well. She is 23 1/2" tall, cream ... however looking quite white now. She has lovely dark pigment... helps that both parents are beautiful silvers.  She is excellent with children and enjoys the company of other dogs too. She happily lives in Reno, enjoying Kia as her playmate.  Couldn't ask for a better home than with Cathleen and her husband, who spoil them rotten! She has been passing all her genetic tests so we are looking forward to puppies with Quintin late Novermber 2009.
UPDATE:  HiD had a fabulous litter with 6 silvers and 1 precious white female!
She is now 'retired' and we are thrilled to move on with her offspring.

Kia came to us as a young puppy, flying from Prague!  From the moment she bounded out of her crate, she has captured our hearts.  She has the the best black coat we've ever seen, thick and inky... you'd think it was dyed.  Kia is 22" tall, and a fit 40lbs. She is a girl who loves to 'do' for you... very athletic, fast and precise in her quick movements.  She loves to fetch and will catch in mid air.  Although she wants the object she is smart enough to know when another wants it too and will let them take it rather than fight for it.  What we do is usually have 2 games of fetch going on, in different directions.  She is a bit picky about which object she wants to play with and it's always her decision to make.  She was an excellent mother, with her first litter, and now wants to be mommy to all!
We are honored to have her be part of Desert Reef poodles... many thanks to her breeders in the Czech Republic and for Cathleen who provides her a fun loving home.
